This conference will give citizens' national and European representatives an opportunity to discuss key issues of concern to them.  The issues to be addressed during the meeting, in working parties and in plenary, will include: enhancing the role of Parliaments in the EU, wider responsibility for national Parliaments, ratification and implementation of the Lisbon Treaty and the new institutional set-up: more efficiency and coherence
