Gun attack on French magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris: MEPs statements

SOUNDBITE (French), Sylvie GUILLAUME (S&amp;D, FR), "My reaction was one of absolute horror at this carnage that has hit a magazine which is very well known in France. It's an attack against freedom, and to attack freedom is to attack democracy, everywhere in the world".

SOUNDBITE (French), Philippe LAMBERTS (Greens/EFA, BE), "Horror - it's an attack against a symbol of the freedom of expression in our countries. We must avoid instinctive reflexes, saying, we must now barricade ourselves, we must barricade democracy behind barbed wire to make sure it's protected".
