De Conferentie over de toekomst van Europa vond dit weekend weer plaats in het Europees Parlement in Straatsburg. Vertegenwoordigers van de Europese en nationale burgerpanels verdedigden hun aanbevelingen om de EU te verbeteren en bespraken ze met de Europese en nationale wetgevers. Oekraïners kwamen in de plenaire sessie van de Conferentie spreken over de oorlog in hun thuisland, terwijl werd gediscussieerd over de rol van de EU in de wereld. De economie, migratie, banen en de digitale transformatie stonden ook op de agenda, samen met onderwijs, cultuur, jeugd en sport.

EU in de wereld en de economie: burgers verdedigen hun ideeën

Europese burgers hebben gestemd voor 48 aanbevelingen om de EU van morgen vorm te geven. Ongeveer 200 deelnemers kwamen in Dublin bijeen voor de derde en laatste sessie van het Europese burgerpanel voor een sterkere economie, sociale rechtvaardigheid en banen, onderwijs, cultuur en sport, en digitale transformatie. Vertegenwoordigers zullen de aanbevelingen voorstellen aan de plenaire sessie van de Conferentie over de toekomst van Europa, in het Europees Parlement te Straatsburg.

Wat is Erasmus+?

The digital environment has made it easier for all fans to access sport events on all kinds of devices and has boosted the development of new online business models. At the same time, it has facilitated illegal online transmission of sport broadcasts within and outside the Union.
