The President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, travels to Egypt and meets with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hanafy El Gebaly. The meeting provides an opportunity to discuss interparliamentary relations, including the organisation of the next EU-Egypt Inter-Parliamentary Meeting (IPM) in Cairo, the EU's macro-financial assistance to Egypt, currently under discussion in the European Parliament, migration flows and asylum.
