Euroopa Parlamendi üheksandale ametiajale vajutasid oma pitseri ülemaailmne COVID-19 pandeemia ja Venemaa agressioonisõda Ukraina vastu. Tervishoiukriisi ja geopoliitiliste raputuste taustal keskendus parlament sel ametiajal rohe- ja digipöördele, et suurendada Euroopa Liidu vastupanuvõimet ja ühtlasi tugevdada liidu demokraatlikke väärtusi.

Over the years the EU and European Parliament have consistently opposed Russian aggression against Ukraine. In a resolution adopted in December 2021, MEPs called on Russia to withdraw its troops threatening Ukraine and said any aggression by Moscow must come at a high economic and political price. The infoclip shows images of buildings destroyed by Russian shelling in Ukraine, security forces cleaning up the damage, Ukrainian citizens getting back to life, EU-funded food banks and medical equipment, military training and Zelensky's visit to the European Parliament.

Both competitors adapt the game to suit their own particular vision: but whereas aggression only conjures up images of conflict and instability, Europe’s ability to see the future is the only strategy capable of changing the game, widening it's limit, in a search for sustainable progress out of disorder. In an ever-changing world, do we seek to maintain chaos in the short-term or look beyond the here and now to ensure a stable future? Game Changers was the opening film presented to Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament (EP), Klaus Welle, EP Secretary-General, Philippe Législe-Costa, French Ambassador to the EU, the EP management, and streamed thrice to the EP staff during all the plenary sessions throughout the 9th Management Innovation Day on 1 July 2022 in Brussels.
