Expo Milano 2015 feeding the planet, energy for life

On 9 May 2015, Europe Day, Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the EC, and Martin Schulz, President of the EP, inaugurated and visited the EU pavilion at the EXPO 2015 Universal Exhibition in Milan. They also visited the Italian pavilion together.

On 9 May 2015, Europe Day, Martin Schulz, President of the EP, made a short speech at the opening of the EU pavilion at the EXPO 2015 Universal Exhibition in Milan. Centred on the theme of global food and nutrition challenges, EXPO is an opportunity for the EU to showcase its work in different food related areas and help raise awareness of this important global issue.
