Members of the Subcommittee on Human Rights (DROI) jointly with the Members of the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET) and in association with the Delegation for relations with Belarus and the Delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly launches a novel platform to fight against impunity in Belarus. The Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET) meet with exiled Belarusian opposition leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, who will be physically present, to discuss the latest developments in the country in the European Parliament in Brussels. They will also adopt recommendations on how the EU should reassess its relations with Belarus following the fraudulent presidential elections, subsequent popular uprising and brutal crackdown by the authorities.
