<p>Margaritis Schinas, born on 28 July 1962 in Thessaloniki, is a Greek civil servant and politician. He was a Member of the European Parliament from 2007 to 2009. Schinas is Vice-President-designate and Commissioner-designate for Promoting our European Way of Life.</p>
