Jaume DUCH GUILLOT, Spokesperson and Director-General for Communication of the EP, opens the press session briefing in the plenary session in the European Parliament in Strasbourg. He gives a feedback on the results of the European Elections 2019 (23-26 May) and announces the opening of the 9th parliamentary term later in the morning. He explains the process to elect the new EP President and the ongoing talks on the top positions during the European Council.
