The second example is the Centro di Primo Soccorso ed Accoglienza of Pozzallo, so called Hotspot where refugees stay not longer than 72 hours. During a fact finding mission on how best to spend EU funding for migration measures, including reception facilities, and how the new “hotspot” concept for screening and identification of migrants functions, MEPs had visited the 2 centres on the 23 and 24 July during parliamentary delegation visit to Sicily (Italy).
