Back in the days when border controls still existed in Europe, you had to have a visa or a work permit if you wanted to live and work in another country, and there was no freedom of movement or Schengen Agreement, peoples’ lives in Europe were very different to what we are used to today. Liam shares his impressions of how much Europe has changed since then. Let’s watch his video interview!

Някога в Европа все още имаше граничен контрол и ако искаш да живееш и работиш в друга държава, трябваше да притежаваш виза или разрешително за работа. Освен това нямаше свобода на движение или Шенгенско споразумение и животът на хората в Европа беше много различен от този, с който сме свикнали днес. Dengang der stadig var grænsekontrol i Europa, skulle man have et visum eller en arbejdstilladelse, hvis man ville bo og arbejde i et andet land. Der var ikke fri bevægelighed, og Schengenaftalen eksisterede ikke. Folks liv i Europa var meget anderledes end det, vi er vant til i dag. Liam deler sine indtryk af, hvor meget Europa har ændret sig siden dengang. Lad os se hans videointerview!

Europadag | Liam: "Jeg kan huske, at vi altid skulle forberede os ... for man kunne vente i timevis på at passere."

Cuando en Europa aún existían los controles fronterizos, había que tener un visado o un permiso de trabajo para vivir y trabajar en otro país. No había libertad de circulación ni existía el Acuerdo de Schengen. La vida de los europeos y las europeas era muy distinta a lo que estamos acostumbrados hoy en día. Liam comparte su opinión sobre lo mucho que ha cambiado Europa desde entonces. ¡No te pierdas el vídeo de su entrevista!

Día de Europa | Liam: «Siempre teníamos que ir preparados... porque cruzar podía llevarnos horas»

Když ještě v Evropě existovaly hraniční kontroly, musel člověk mít vízum nebo pracovní povolení, pokud chtěl žít a pracovat v zahraničí. Tehdy ještě neexistovala žádná svoboda pohybu ani Schengenská dohoda a život se od toho dnešního velmi lišil. Pusťte si videorozhovor, v němž Liam vypráví o tom, jak se Evropa od té doby proměnila!

Den Evropy | Liam: „Člověk s tím vždy musel počítat… protože si klidně mohl počkat i několik hodin.“

Παλαιότερα, όταν υπήρχαν ακόμη συνοριακοί έλεγχοι στην Ευρώπη, έπρεπε κανείς να διαθέτει θεώρηση ή άδεια εργασίας για να μπορεί να ζήσει και να εργαστεί σε άλλη χώρα.

Ημέρα της Ευρώπης | Λίαμ: «Θυμάμαι ότι έπρεπε να προετοιμαζόμαστε... γιατί μπορεί να περιμέναμε ώρες για να περάσουμε.»

Jum l-Ewropa | Liam: “Dejjem kellna nkunu preparati... għax stajna ndumu ħafna.”

Pe când încă existau controale la granițe în Europa, trebuia să ai o viză sau un permis de muncă dacă doreai să locuiești sau să lucrezi în altă țară. Nu existau nici libertatea de circulație, nici Acordul Schengen. Oamenii duceau o viață foarte diferită de cea cu care ne-am obișnuit acum. Liam ne împărtășește impresiile sale despre cât de mult s-a schimbat Europa de atunci. Vă invităm să ascultați interviul lui!

Ziua Europei | Liam: „Trebuia să fii pregătit mereu... deoarece puteai aștepta câteva ore bune.”

Ai tempi in cui in Europa esistevano ancora i controlli alle frontiere, per vivere e lavorare in un altro paese servivano un visto o un permesso di soggiorno. Non c'erano né la libertà di circolazione, né l'accordo di Schengen, e la vita era molto diversa da quella a cui siamo abituati oggi. Liam ci parla di quanto l'Europa sia cambiata da allora. Ecco la sua video intervista.

Giornata dell'Europa | Liam: "Bisognava partire preparati... perché al confine si potevano aspettare ore."

V časih, ko so v Evropi še obstajale mejne kontrole, si za življenje in delo v drugi državi potreboval vizum ali delovno dovoljenje. Schengenskega sporazuma še ni bilo, prav tako pa tudi ne prostega gibanja. Življenje v takratni Evropi je bilo zato zelo drugačno od današnjega. V videu Liam pripoveduje o tem, kako se je odtlej spremenila Evropa.

Dan Evrope | Liam: „Spomnim se, da smo vedno pripravili sendviče in hrano, saj čakanju na meji včasih ni bilo konca.“
