Den nya lagen förbjuder system som medför en oacceptabel risk för människors säkerhet och fastställer vilka regler som gäller för andra system.

Euroopan komissio teki osana 55-valmiuspakettia lainsäädäntöehdotuksen EU:n nykyisen päästökauppajärjestelmän tarkistamiseksi. EU vahvistaa päästökauppajärjestelmäänsä entisestään saavuttaakseen kunnianhimoisen ilmastotavoitteen, joka on EU:n ilmastolain mukaan 55 prosentin päästövähennys vuoteen 2030 mennessä. Tässä jaksossa käsittelemme EU:n päästökauppajärjestelmää ja sen viimeisintä uudistusta osana 55-valmiuspakettia.

The LUX Audience Award seeks to support European cinema and inspire discussion on topical issues. Last year, the European Parliament joined forces with the European Film Academy to organise the Award and to reach a wider audience. The LUX Audience Award is now open to all Europeans, who together with MEPs have a say in who wins the award.
