In the European Parliament in Brussels, the Finnish Presidency of the EU Council reports to the Committee on Civil Liberties Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) on the latest discussion in Council on the Article 7(1) procedure against Hungary to determine whether there is a clear risk of a serious breach of the EU’s common values. This is the first substantial discussion on the subject in the current legislative term.
