Although EU-Turkey relations have improved slightly recently, MEPs are worried about the continued deterioration of fundamental rights and rule of law in the country. The first meeting of EU-UK Parliamentary Partnership Assembly is scheduled for 12-13 May 2022, in Brussels. This is the first time that representatives from both parliaments will meet in this new body.
