A European Parliament delegation from the Civil Liberties Committee and from the Committee on Budgetary Control travel to Slovenia to take stock of the rule of law situation, media freedom and the fight against corruption. La planta eslovena de reciclaje de basura es una de las mayores y más éficientes del mundo. El 98 por ciento de los residuos que llegan hasta ella son reciclados en objetos, compost o en energía. Un proyecto respaldado por los fondos de cohesión europeos. Son cientos de miles de personas las que se benefician ya de este proyecto. Rcero, el centro de tratamiento de residuos de la capital eslovena, es el más moderno y uno de los mayores de Europa. Los desechos de 58 ciudades acaban en esta planta.

En Slovénie, le centre de traitement des déchets de la capitale slovène Ljubljana appelé RCERO est l'un des plus grands d'Europe, mais surtout le plus moderne. Sur ce site ouvert en 2015, 170.000 tonnes d'ordures ménagères de tout type récupérées dans 58 municipalités sont transformées pour 98% d'entre eux, en nouveaux objets, compost ou biocarburant. D'ailleurs, grâce au biocarburant produit par la fermentation du compost, le centre est autosuffisant en termes d'énergie.

Il centro di trattamento dei rifiuti di Lubiana è il più moderno e uno dei più grandi in Europa. I rifiuti di 58 municipalità finiscono qui. Al Rcero ogni anno vengono trattate 170.000 tonnellate di rifiuti, biodegradabili e no (150.000 tn/anno di rifiuti misti + 20.000 tn/anno di rifiuti raccolti separati). Il progetto è sostenuto dalla politica di coesione dell'UE, costa 155 milioni di euro compresi 77,5 milioni di euro finanziati dai fondi di coesione dell'UE.
